I sold some gold to Oscar last month. It was an awesome experience. After stressing about getting ripped off and taking the gold to several different purchasers, Oscar set my mind at ease. Impressive! I had a small amount of random gold and silver that wasn't being used so after reading the on-line reviews of this company, I really wanted to meet Oscar. He is a very rare and interesting person. He is knowledgeable in many areas and is able to speak competently and confidently about the precious metals industry. I believe he gave me a good price on my trinkets and I wish I had more to go back and sell to him. Sorry, Oscar, my grandmother's silver set is silver plate Meet him; I think you'll be really pleased!

Oscar's gold prices are highly competitive and he made this an easy, transparent, and professional transaction. I was undecided about whether I wanted to sell a larger piece and Oscar provided a price for it but I felt no pressure from him whatsoever to sell it. Oct 12, 2010 – easy to work with, and by far the best price‎‎ I recently wanted to sell a gold ring. I took it to four sellers: a large jewelry store with an advertisement for buying gold, a small jewelry store I've dealt with in the past, and two Portland gold buyers with very solid reviews, one of whom was Oscar. Oscar gave me by far the best price, which was double the lowest offer that I received. Oscar was also the only one who took the time to test the gold purity; the others relied on the stamp on the inside of the ring. It was very easy to meet with him, and he is friendly and a pleasure to work with.‎

 

Sep 29, 2010 – Honest, Fair, Made you feel comfortable‎‎ I want to thank Oscar for being a real professional about my whole expericne. I have never sold any of my jewlery before. He made it seem and easy and simple. Oscar explained the entire process as he was doing it. Explaining things even when I did not understand. There was no "awkward" moment of silence. He kept talking and it kept me interested in finding out more. He is very professional but holds that calm sense of himself. Oscar gave me a better price than another gold buyer I went to the previous day, who was actually going to rip me off $250. Oscar really did give me the best deal out there. I would recommend Oscar to anyone, that is either first time sellers or have done it before. OSCAR IS GREAT!! I have gone to him time and time again and he still stands out on top. Aug 19, 2010 – Honest, Fair, Pays the highest price…‎‎ I want to thank Oscar for his professionalism and his integrity. I knew the specs of my wedding ring. I had just recently separated from my wife and needed to sell the ring for financial reasons. After calling many places to get the best price, I called Oscar and he gave me a far better price than his competitors in town. Not only that, he was very professional. He has a convenient downtown office. He works with his customers on appointment. I appreciated that because it created privacy in what was an emotional situation for me He seemed to know what this sale meant to me and was more than fair and understanding. Jul 27, 2010 – Best Price. Fast and Easy‎‎ We went to see Oscar based on some of these reviews. We'd gone to two other places first (including a well-known jeweler that says they give you more with their online coupon) and Oscar paid us MUCH more than the others offered (about 80% more than the jeweler). So we were really happy. Highly recommended if you want some quick cash. Oscar is nice, fair and efficient.‎

Jul 17, 2010 – Helpful, Educational, and Fair Price‎‎ I took my 13 year old granddaughter with me to research the value of the gold I had to sell. Oscar was very sweet as he thoroughly explained each detail of detecting the quality of the gold, the price, the weight, etc. We were thrilled at the value of our pieces and very happy with the prices that he offered us. Oscar and the gold provided a very pleasant as well as educational "adventure" for my grand daughter and myself. When I have more gold to sell in the future, I will certainly call on Oscar. We actually came up with a solution that gave me some summer spending money and let me keep part of my air loom piece. I had already determined the exact amount of gold I had to sell before meeting with him. He quoted what he was paying over the phone. When I arrived for my appointment, he analyzed the quality of the gold and determined the weight. I left with amount of cash I expected, which was 40% more than other gold buyers in Portland were quoting. I felt that my transaction with Oscar was fair and honest.‎
